Our journey to sustainability started with a clear vision: contributing to a healthier planet by reducing our ecological footprint. This started with a thorough analysis of our business processes and the impact they have on the environment. In 2022, we decided to launch a strategic sustainability initiative aimed at reducing our carbon emissions and promoting sustainable practices across all our operations.
Our main goal is to achieve a significant reduction in our CO2 emissions, in line with the most ambitious targets of the Paris Climate Agreement. In concrete terms, we aim to achieve an absolute CO2 reduction of 42% by 2030, compared to our base year of 2021. We also want to integrate sustainable values into all our business processes and relationships, from purchasing to production and distribution.
